Everything Dissolves

Terrarium, found objects from the Dresden Heath, flowing water
The complexity and simultaneity of ever more events can become overwhelming. The attempt to understand everything fails. Things seem to dissolve in our hands and slip through our fingers. They elude our influence and become increasingly difficult to grasp.
In the forest I find calm. Wind moves through the trees and carries individual leaves to the ground. Water murmurs nearby. A rivulet continually cuts through the forest floor and slowly wears away the stone around which it flows. Everything appears to be in a balance of decay and renewal.
