Ulrich Stolz
lives and works in Dresden
Space, landscape and perception are starting points for my work. In my art, I examine how we act and feel: Where do we locate ourselves? What are the consequences of our actions?
The artistic questions continue in choices of material, construction and space. Particularly in art in architecture and larger works in public space, my many years of experience as a landscape architect inform this process. Ecological considerations are as much part of the artistic inquiry as of the concrete planning.
